Gold Coast Business Excellence AwardsONE of Australia's leading telephone marketing and advertising agencies has taken out a Gold Coast Business Excellence Award.

1800 ONHOLD was presented with the Mayor's Innovation Award for September and was a finalist for The 2006 Business Excellence Awards' ‘Business of the Year’.

Managing Director, Troy Cooper, said this accolade would not have been possible if it weren't for the great team of creative writers, audio engineers and small business marketing specialists he has on staff.

“This is a fantastic achievement. We are very proud of what we have achieved over the last couple of years. We have just launched our franchise program and now have our sights set on exporting to Asia and Europe.”

Troy Cooper started 1800 ONHOLD in 1998 after being retrenched from a local radio station in North Queensland. 1800 ONHOLD’s unique style of marketing has won many accolades, including a Telstra Business Award in 2003.

Currently, more than 3 million people listen to music programs produced by 1800 ONHOLD when calling businesses in Australia.
