When the Redcross Appeal went out to help those that were affected by the horrific bushfires in Victoria, the team at 1800 ONHOLD wanted to get involved and show their support.
Every week staff contribute to a social club fund which the company matches dollar for dollar. The money from this fund is used for various social functions throughout the year.
1800 ONHOLD staff unanimously agreed to donate $1,000 from the fund to help rebuild the lives of those who had lost so much to the fires.
Social Club Co-ordinator, Samantha Fogarty commented, "Everyday we hear another story of tragedy from the bushfire region. The reports have affected us all... it was the least we could do".
